Starting From Scratch or Catching Up
Four things that come up with new businesses.
- You have not started yet. We set up your chart of accounts, connect your bank feeds, and help you choose the right software. The books are built correctly from the first transaction instead of being rebuilt later.
- You have been doing it yourself. Months have gone by, receipts are in a shoebox or a spreadsheet, and it has gotten away from you. We catch it up and clean it up, then keep it current.
- Personal and business are mixed together. This is the most common problem we see with new businesses, and the most expensive one to untangle later. Separating them properly is one of the first things we sort out.
- You are not sure what entity you are. Most owners have this settled by the time we meet. If you do not, we can walk you through the options so you can make an informed decision.
